Farm on the brain

It was a nice day working at the farm. The pop up camper is out there now so I will be able to spend more time working with everyone. We had fun yesterday working together in the garden as a community. Brian, Jenna, Jen, Rich and I were hard at work all over the farm. Jenna had loads of beautiful laundry hanging. Rich was out collecting wood to make a fence. Brian was out killing chickens (he is a mobile chicken processor if you know anyone who needs their chickens processed). Jen and I (mostly Jen) made a huge batch of Pad Thai for dinner for everyone and then it was back out to work in the garden for us. We planted until we couldn't see in the dark. I planted in the cool soil and waited for the sun to set. I was eaten alive by mosquitos but who cares...it was surreal!

Here is a couple of pictures from my day out there.

Here is Jen and the field.

Rich and his new trailer:

I took a few pictures with my camera as I walked around. I picked flowers before the sun set

Here is the composting outhouse, notice the rouge chicken...it's part of the farm fun

Jen and Daisy

The highlight of my evening was sitting with my brothers and sisters around the campfire :)
