Mid-June thoughts...

Hot, humid, and sticky! That sums up my day! We had a few big rain storms but nothing damaging close to home.

I went to the beach with the girls last Sunday. It was worth the ride out to Lake Michigan. It was fun for the girls to dig in the sand and splash a bit in the water. We didn't get to fly our kites this time...but there is always next week :) I keep all of our beach stuff in my trunk so we can go whenever we get the urge.

Here is a picture of our little beach area, with my new cart, my beach umbrella and picnic basket.

I love the Polaroid program (free and easy) :) can't help myself. I love how it makes it look like an old Polaroid.

Here are some more farm pics. The popup camper is up on the property now. I was thrilled about it but I will never stay on the farm again...because I hate roosters at 5am. I understand farm life...blah, blah, blah. That is why, the rooster can stay and I wont. Despite the rooster crows, the camper has a pleasant location. The pop-up is in the area fondly know as "Gardenside"

The gardens in the evening, a spectacular view off the west.
